Struck by the New Zealand Mint from one ounce of 99.9% silver, the motive of the premium bullion coin features a shadowy image of the ship as well as a stylized depiction of its captain Edward Teach – better known as Blackbeard – holding a skull in his hand. The inscriptions “QUEEN ANNE’S REVENGE”, “PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN”, “1 oz 999 Fine Silver” and the Disney™ logo and copyright are also included in the design. The reverse features the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions “TWO DOLLARS,” “ELIZABETH II,” “2022” and “NIUE”. The Queen Anne’s Revenge™ is a three-masted full-rigged ship with red paint and gold leaf on the stern. The figurehead depicts a skeleton holding a scythe in its right hand.
