This is a lovely Original Oil Painting by Nigel Mason.
Nigel Mason was born in Yorkshire in 1952. From an early age he had a very keen interest in art and taught himself to paint by copying old masters as well as paintings housed in Leeds Art Gallery. During his early 20's he worked as a set designer and sign maker for Yorkshire Television, he created the sign for the the Woolpack Pub in Emmerdale. He later moved to North Devon supporting himself and his young family by painting Kitchen furniture. Mason is a keen musician and the folk band he was a part of produced three albums as well as performing at Glastonbury and across Europe. In his 40's he became a lecturer in Fine Art whilst continuing to develop his own painting career. His work has been shown in a number of galleries including Castle Fine Art who have sold many of his paintings. His work is in collections worldwide. He now paints from his own studio in North Devon.

The painting is in excellent condition, for 100% accuracy there is a small chip to the back of the board, this does not detract from the painting.
