Antique Victorian c1880 German Badische Uhrenfabrik Chiming Bracket/Mantel Clock.
This is an antique
19th century Victorian c1880's German "Badische Uhrenfabrik" bracket / mantel clock. This is in excellent condition and is in full working order. It has a beautiful oak body of architectural form. The oak has a medium/dark brown coloured finish with a darker visible grain and a soft subtle shine. The face is circular in shape with a silver coloured metal chapter ring, black coloured numerals and silver coloured hands. The face is protected by a flat full frontal glass door with an oak bezel. The glass is in excellent condition with no scratches, chips or cracks. To the rear is the door to the mechanism chamber. The door is intact and also in excellent condition. This chimes (on a coil) on the hour (chiming the numbers of
hours) and on the half hour (once). This comes complete with its pendulum and key. The clock was cleaned and serviced on the 13th February 2024.
