Publisher: George Allen and Unwin, 1977 first edition, printed by William Clowes, in the export dust jacket without a price printed on it.  Bound in blue cloth with titles and vignette in gilt on the spine, in original dust jacket. Very good condition, with very slight fading to the spine panel of the dust jacket, one owner inscription dated 1977 on the endpaper, with names blocked out, and a small piece lost from the front free endpaper. Otherwise clean and bright and tight in its binding. Illustrated with one full-page map, and a large folding map at the end of the book, both in very good condition.23cm, 9 inches, tall, 365 pages.
