Description: It is an authentic antique map approximately 130 years old from the circa 1885 Hartleben's Volks-Atlas, (Leipzig, A. Hartleben Velhag) with a centerfold as issued. A copy of the title page is included for authenticity. It is in German, blank on the reverse with nice strong color on a heavy page The map is not matted nor framed being sold as a single map, as seen in the first pic, printed on a large heavy sheet with partial maps on the reverse. Overall a beautiful large map in great condition.
Size: The map image area from neat line to neat line measures approximately 13 1/2 by 19 inches (34x48cm) on a 15 1/2 by 21" (39x53cm) page with a margin all around for framing.
Condition: The map is in Good to Very Good condition, blank on the reverse with a centerfold as issued. There is typical light tonal ageing and darkening around the edges, otherwise it is very clean and would frame up well, see the pics for more info on the condition. The pics are of the actual map.
