Description:  It is an authentic copper plate engraved antique map over 180 years old with original handcoloring and the plate marks embossed around the margins. It is by T.G. Bradford from his A Comprehensive Atlas Geographical, 1835 as stated on the atlas title page. A facsimile copy of the Atlas Title Page is included for authenticity. It is not mounted, matted nor framed being sold as a single sheet as shown in the main pic.
Size: The map image measures approximately 7 1/2 by 9 1/2 inches on a 10 by 12 1/2" page and a margin all around for framing.
Condition: The map is in Fair to Good condition for tis age with overall tonal aging and nice original hand color as issued, printed on a strong buff colored page. It is basically as seen in the pics. There is a repair to a small (about a half a centimeter) in Leon that we have filled in on the back so it blends with the map and is not really noticeable unless one looks for it. There is some light brown spots and foxing, best to see the detailed pic for more on condition. It is hard to find a Bradford map that hasn't foxed to some degree, unless it has been excessively cleaned. Overall, a good example of a scarce Bradford map. The pics are of the actual map.
