【Item Description】

This is a Fender Japan Vintage Precision Bass.

It's a highly sought-after F-series serial number model made by FujiGen in 1986-1987. The neck is in excellent condition, almost perfectly straight. I've set the action low and have had no issues using it. It weighs 3816 grams, making it lightweight.

The tuners have been upgraded to HIPSHOT paddle tuners. I didn't need to drill new holes for installation as the existing holes fit perfectly.

The nut was custom-made by TUNE GUITAR MANIAC using oil-soaked bone, and they also made various adjustments and replaced capacitor they reccomended during the process (which enhanced the low-end response when tone is rolled off). They also praised the resonance of this particular instrument.

It has seen considerable use over the years, and I've played it extensively. The neck vibrates strongly, and it has incredible resonance. Personally, I've owned various Fender USA and Japan models, but this one stands out for its strong E-string bounce, especially during slapping.

While I can't confirm the original pickups, they are likely Seymour Duncan SPB-3 Quarter Pound P-Bass pickups, judging by their size and punchy output.

Included accessories: PB pickup cover, two white knobs, and a white pickguard (which has been modified to accommodate layering for easier slapping). Also, there's a soft case included, albeit with signs of use.

It's a vintage and well-played instrument, so there are some scratches, dents, and wear on the fingerboard finish.
