I am selling a very rare and sought after 1960/70s German Ebonite Zinner Strathon Adjustatone 6 Baritone Saxophone mouthpiece in very good original condition. The mouthpiece feautres the famous adjustable baffle. You can adjust the baffle and influence the sound from very dark and smooth to cutting and lighting. These pieces are rare in General but I have never owned a Baritone before. These Bari pieces are rare as hell!.
The mouthpiece is in very good and original condition. Tip, rails and baffle are in great orginal condition. The tip is very clear and "sharp". It was never refaced or worked on. The oriringal box and ligature are included.
The tip opening meassures 0,091(1/1000 inch) or 2,31 mm. Exacatly what it should meassure.The mouthpiece has no playing relevant damages. Just some scratches and oxidation. Technically it is a 100% playable and original. It plays smooth and effortless from top to bottom. The Ebonite looks very smooth and black.
It is a very rare and sought after piece.

Ich biete hier eines der begehrten und seltenen Vintage Mundstücke der deutschen Firma Zinner für Baritonsaxophon an. Es handelt sich um ein Strathon Adjustatone Bahn 6 aus den 1960/70er Jahren mit dem berühmten verstellbaren Baffle Mechanismus. Man kann das Baffle damit so einstellen, wie der Sound gerade sein soll. Von dunkel und warm bis schneidend und strahlend ist damit alles möglich. Diese Mundstücke sind im Allgemeinen schon selten, aber für Baritonsaxophon habe ich erstmal in 20 Jahren Saxophon eines in der Hand. Wahnsinnig seltenes Mundstück!
Die originale Box, und Schraube sind mitenthalten.
Es befindet sich in altersgemäß sehr gut erhaltenem Zustand. Tip, Rails, Baffle und Table sind original und nicht nachbearbeitet. Insbesondere die Spitze ist schön "scharf". Die Öffnung beträgt gemessene 0,091(1/1000 Inch) bzw. 2,31 mm. Dies entspricht genau der angegebenen Öffnung.
Es hat ansonsten lediglich einige Kratzer, sowie Oxidation. Ansonsten keine technischen Schäden. Wertiges Material, gute Verarbeitung und mächtiger Sound. Das Mundstück ist von oben bis unten sehr leicht und vielseitig spielbar. Das Kautschuk ist noch wunderbar glatt und schwarz.
Professionell gereinigt und gesäubert. Am besten erkennt man den guten Zustand auf den Bildern!
