Offered for your consideration is an antique or vintage solid wood abacus. The abacus still has the original plate of manufacture on one of the edges. An abacus is used much like a calculator in solving mathematical problems. Overall, the abacus is in very good 'as found' condition, showing signs of use, handling, and age. I do not detect any breaks or repairs to the device, but there is one detected crack to one of the beads from age. It measures 14 5/8" x 7 1/8" x 1" and has a weight of about 1 pound 11 ounces and will ship at 2 pounds 8 ounces, as it will be boxed for protection. Auctions can be combined to save on shipping.
