Product Details

This is a normally operating used DC regulated power supply PMX18-2A manufactured by Kikusui Electronics Industry.

Series regulator type (dropper type), 0 to 18V 0 to 2A

We have checked the operation of this product with the following items and confirmed that it works properly.

An electronic load (Kikusui PLZ164W) was connected to the output of this product, and the output voltage was measured with a digital multimeter (HP 34401A).

The measurement conditions were as follows.

1.20V, 2.00A

3.30V, 2.00A

5.00V, 2.00A

12.00V, 2.00A

15.00V, 2.00A

18.00V, 2.00A


The output in CC mode was also checked under the following conditions.

0.50A

1.00A

1.50A

2.00A


The measurement results are shown in the following photographs.

In all cases, the voltage and current output were generally in line with the settings.


We also confirmed that there was no abnormal stop and no abnormal fan noise after about 3 hours of continuous operation at 18.00V and 2.00A.


(We cannot guarantee the accuracy of the 34401A, as it is originally a very high-precision measuring instrument. (Please understand that these values are for reference only.)


The photo shows the ROM version and other information displayed immediately after startup.


However, there are some scratches on the exterior that may have been caused by use.
