Below are a few examples:

APPLE CAKE

In recent years

You’ve spiced yourself up

No longer plain and innocently sweet

I suppose it was inevitable

In order to compete

With all those other tarts

 BETTER THAN SEX CAKE

The fork is inserted several times

Filling each hole with a mixture

The centre now being really moist

Creating a scent of sugar and fruit

Getting hotter and hotter as it’s baked

Using a nine inch or thirteen inch

That’s nine by thirteen by two inch tin

What are you readers like???

It’s an actual American cake

Which is best served cold

Like the shower YOU need to take

CHEESECAKE

You have conquered the entire world

With your soft and melting character

But as anyone who really knows you

When you delve in deeper and deeper

You discover your crushed and crumbled base

Perhaps an indication of your relationships

As each time you end up being devoured

 COFFEE CAKE

You are coffee textured

In other words

Strong bitter aroma

Roasted fragrance

Addictive

Indulgent

Natural musk

Burning desire

Desirable whether

Icy cold, or hot and steaming

When you are in the room

I am elevated by your scent

Even before I see you

And when I do finally see you

That’s when our romance begins

DOUGHTNUT

I know you are bad for me

But every time we are together

I glaze over your sinful nature

I believe that you are all-rounded

I ignore the massive hole in your character

So consumed in the taste of you

That all I seem to do

Is savour that delicious taste

And dreamily I mutter

Dough, Dough, Dough

Making me the donut

 PANCAKE

You can be sizzling hot

Or flipped personality

Turning cool and icy

You can be plain

Or you can be

Naughty and saucy

Some say that makes you

An enigma, but I say

It makes you all rounded
