Offered by Kevin Francis on behalf of The American Toby Jug Museum is this show stopper Johnnie Walker salt glazed stoneware bottle designed by Mike Marshall and produced by Royal Doulton of Lambeth, England circa 1900. 

This is an extremely rare bottle, only one example is known.


John "Johnnie" Walker (1805-1857) began selling whisky in his grocery store in Ayshire, Scotland in the early 1800's even though he was a teetotaler. After his death his son and grandson established the whisky as an internationally popular brand enjoyed by millions of people around the world. This iconic image of Johnnie Walker has been used to advertise whisky forever 150 years.
