The perfect small vise for a luthier / guitar builder / or other fine work.

This is a Chicago-era Wilton Toddler bullet vise with 2 and 1/2 inch jaw width. Makes a great vise for fine work, including jewelery, crafts, luthier, gunsmith....a great size for many finer applications.

The key has a date code of 1975, but it is well known that the chicago era bodies were made around 1950 and stored for later assembly.  "Chicago" lettering is present on both sides of the vise.

The entire vise, including jaws, disassembles easily, in the event that there is other work or maintenance, or refinishing you want to do on it. The philips screws holding the jaws are all free.

This vise has been lovingly cared for over the many years.  About 80% of the original gray paint is present as well as the original rear sticker which indicates "Model 825".

The jaw faces are strikingly clean - see pics. There are normal signs of light normal usage but nothing serious...the vise has no repairs or cracks.

The vise opens and closes well and jaws line up perfectly.  A really nice example!!

The handle that turns the screw shows some minor normal handling marks.

Every piece is original, including the way-cool lockdowns.  Base is in great shape with no cracks, chips, or repairs.  The inside ring in the base is perfect.

Anvil is very clean.

End cap of the bullet is in place. Shows original gray paint.

Just a really nice stand-out example of the 2.5" toddler, with sticker and paint...very hard to find in this condition.

The Wilton vises are so fantastic to have in your shop....the best of our earlier manufacturing era.
