This Japanese made Kyowa Unilux 12 research quality binocular microscope is in excellent condition and is of very good quality. It is fully operational and in good working order. I have cleaned the optics and lubricated moving parts so it is in very good working order.

From the top:

Binocular head inclined at 45 degrees with paired Kyowa WHE10X/18 oculars, each one individually focusable.

Quadruple nosepiece with the following (3) objectives:

Kyowa A10 0.25 160/-

Kyowa A40 0.65 160/0.17

Kyowa A100 1.25 OIL 160/0.17

The fourth hole has a cap.

Fixed stage with x-y slide holder with below stage controls.

1.25 NA Abbe condenser with diaphragm and flip in blue filter.

Coarse and fine concentric focusing knobs with tensioner.

There is a stage stop mechanism that can be operated by a 3mm Allen Key. The original knob is missing but this does not in any way affect the function of the microscope. This is on the right hand side of the main body just above the focus knobs.

Built in illumination with 6V 20W halogen lamp with intensity control.

Long 2.3m mains lead.

The photographs are of psychodidae and Pellia (LS sporophyte)

The x100 lens is difficult to get correct picture so recommend using the fine focus
