From a Cape Cod estate in Chatham comes this very sweet smiling 13" Bar and Proschild #309 shoulderhead doll with original kid leather body and jointed composition arms.    She has her original wig and pate.  This is not a common doll.  She has cracking and missing thumb on her left hand.  Her bisque head is free of any cracks or chips.  She has deep brown set eyes.  There are some rust spots on her kid body but no holes or cracks. No sawdust issues.

Her clothes are all antique. Hand stitched and pinned to her.  We'll start with a padded bra, camisole, pantaloons, slip, bustle, socks and little leather slippers.  Her dress has ruffled sleeves and lace edging that Anne with an E could only dream about.  Most darling of all is her Apron with a little dog running thru the field.  There are 2 similar dolls listed on ebay for $280 so this girl is a bargain.
