12 octavos, beautifully bound in period full crushed brown morocco with raised bands to spines. Ornate gilt decoration to the compartments of the spine, boards gilt ruled, inside gilt dentelles, silk moire endpapers, top edge gilt. Illustrated in black and white. Each volume with a red silk place marker. Some slight discoloration to spines. A few of the hinges are starting to crack, others are tender, else in very good condition.
