Avec son pied d'origine en métal et bois , (mal repeint en gris).
Le Curtiss C-46 F-BESN a été livré en Aout 1955.
Le 27 Avril 1961 au décollage , suite à une perte de puissance d'un moteur ,
il se pose en urgence , les 3 membres d'équipage et le convoyeur sont blessés.
L'appareil est tres endommagé , sans possibilité de reparation.
La compagnie Air Cameroun a été en activité de 1959 à 1971.
Modéle probablement offert par Curtiss pour la livraison des 2 premiers appareils.

The airplane is damaged beyond repairs.
Air Cameroun was in existence between 1959 to 1971.
This model was probably a gift at the delivery of the 2 first C-46 airplanes by Curtiss USA.
