A superb example of an Indo- Persian Qajar dynasty hand etched water jug in good condition.

The jug is made of heavy gauge copper, that has been profusely hand chased, with paisley pattern motifs, using the ornamental Persian buta or boteh, a teardrop-shaped motif, with a curved upper end. There are also incised cartouches and borders of geometric patterns. Fine looking piece.

Size about 35×20cm
