For your consideration is a rare autographed and inscribed 1976 Spalding Baseball by Paul Lindblad. Also, ball holder cube will be included.

The signature and inscription are authentic and belong to former MLB player Paul Lindblad. The ball is an official 1976 Spalding Lee MacPhail Official American League baseball (only used for one year). This is the last year Spalding manufactured baseballs for the Major Leagues.

Inscription reads: “To ___ / To one Hell’va / A’s supporter / Best wishes / Paul Lindblad”

The ball is in excellent condition and has been well-preserved over the years. It is a unique piece of sports memorabilia that will make a great addition to any baseball collection.

Lindblad was the winning pitcher for Oakland in Game Three of the 1973 World Series against the New York Mets, by working shutout baseball in the ninth and tenth innings. In the 10th, he became the last pitcher faced by future Hall of Famer Willie Mays, who grounded out as a pinch-hitter.

In 1975, Lindblad had a 9–1 record with seven saves. On the final day of the regular season, he combined with Vida Blue, Glenn Abbott, and Rollie Fingers on a no-hitter against the California Angels. He appeared in two games against the Boston Red Sox in the ALCS.
