This is a beautiful vintage 1970's designer maxi hippy dress by Fern Violette for Joseph Magnin.  The bodice is a royal purple cotton velvet with metallic gold threading and gold buttons.  the skirt is a purple, green and pink cotton. zipper closure to the waist.  Very nice condition.

M   Bust 37 inches, waist 26 inches, hips 50+ inches.   shoulder to hem 57 inches. shoulder to waist 17 inches. Shoulder to shoulder 16.5 inches.
