From a recent find in Paris, is this fine 18th century French master drawing
The drawing, executed in charcoal on laid watermarked paper, shows a figure study, depicting a profile portrait of a bearded man, wearing a hat.
Authorship : the drawing is from the French School of the Louis XV period.
Size : 31,7x24,3cm.
Condition : Fairly good. Some scattered dirt throughout. Sides : glue marks. In general the drawing would benefit from a clean. Top corners : tiny holes. Left side below : a secured tear. Right mid : paper damaged. Sides irregular of shape. Bottom corner right : tiny fragment of paper missing. Back side : traces of a paper support. Unframed.
