LIONEL POST-WAR 6376 CIRCUS STOCK CAR RED and WHITE with SLIDING DOOR *OVP* includes ORIGINAL VENDOR BOX

Production: 1956 & 1957

History

The 6376 Circus Stock Car was available for a brief time in the mid to late 1950s. This style freight car was classified by Lionel as a bi-level stock car and this specific version was called the Circus Car. Lionel included the 6376 Circus Car in only one O gauge freight set in 1956 and not in 1957.

Features

Standard features on the 6376 include: white unpainted body with red lettering, red painted roof catwalk, four sliding opening doors, single brakewheel plus bar-end trucks with tab couplers.

A common problem with the 6376 is the red painted areas. These areas are prone to easily losing their paint. Whenever handling or cleaning the car, extreme care should be taken with the side lettering or catwalk on the roof.

The length of the 6376 bi-level stock car is approximately 11 1/2" long (coupler to coupler).

All are unpainted white with red lettering.
