【Item Description】

This is a Fender Japan JB75.

Based on the serial number (starting with "M~"), it can be determined that it was manufactured in 1992.

It has undergone various modifications, so I would appreciate it if you could read through the description.

The neck is in very good condition, with plenty of room left in the truss rod. It weighs 4.6 kilograms, which is on the heavier side.

Modifications include:

・Replacing the tuners with reverse-wound tuners from Fender USA

・Upgrading the pickups to ESP pickups

・Replacing the electronic components with CTS parts

・Installing Fender Custom Shop tone controls

About a decade ago, I modified it with the sound of a 1970s Fender USA Jazz Bass in mind, aiming for an active setup.

The characteristic hollow sound of Fender Japan has been enhanced to produce a sound that is solid from low to high frequencies by replacing the pickups with high-output ESP pickups.

Being a specimen manufactured by FujiGen in '92, it's often praised by my musical peers for its quality, comparable to Fender USA basses from the '70s.
