This is a nifty little everything-in-one kit. The contents are pretty much OUT OF DATE - and the kit is sold as a vintage collectible - NOT FOR USE. Everything is contained is a small tin box. The lid of the box is marked, "S.O.S. - Sportsman's Outdoor Service kit - 37 NECESSARY ITEMS - HUNDREDS OF USES...KARDIS CO., Inc. NEW YORK, N.Y." It appears to be mostly complete - it might be missing an item or two. Some of the items included: a single blade pocket knife, matches, lighter fluid, pen light, fishing line & hooks, wax, string, small combination hammer / screwdriver, pliers, nails, clothing repair kit, tweezers and assorted first aid items. SOME ITEMS ARE NO LONGER USABLE. The contents of some tubes have dried or leaked. The contents are soiled, and some items are fragile. As mentioned previously - sold as a vintage collectible - NOT for actual use. The metal box measures just under 7 inches long. It is 3 & 3/4 inches wide, and about 1 & 1/2 inches deep.
