This is an original press photo. Martin, Mary. Besides the natural pearl and the cultured pearl, there is the manufactured pearl, of which millions are produced in this country and in Japan. Above, Mary Martin, whose heart belongs to daddy, wears a necklace of Coro pearls. These are produced by coating glass beads with an alabaster coating and then with a series of coatings of what the manufacturers call the essence of pearl.
