For sale is this pair of architectural drawing, dating back to the early 19th century.

The drawings, executed in pen, ink and watercolors on early 19th century laid paper, are showing two cadaster plans.  The top drawing shows a river landscape, indicating two bridges, several small ferry services and the land alongside the river, composed of marshes, a small village surrounded by vineyards and some fields.  The other plan shows a wasteland and a field growing hops.
This second plan shows a road connecting Rambervillers and Romont, which situated the plans in East France (Lorraine).

Authorship : the drawing is from the French Neoclassical School.  The bottom drawing is signed right below "Etienne".

Period : ca. 1820-1830.

Size : 26,6x37,3cm/25,8x38,3cm.

Condition : Good.  Some scattered dirt throughout.  The fluvial plan show some spots due to damp.  Slightly foxed.  Unframed.
