The drawings, executed in pen, ink and watercolors on early 19th century laid paper, are showing two cadaster plans. The top drawing shows a river landscape, indicating two bridges, several small ferry services and the land alongside the river, composed of marshes, a small village surrounded by vineyards and some fields. The other plan shows a wasteland and a field growing hops.
This second plan shows a road connecting Rambervillers and Romont, which situated the plans in East France (Lorraine).
