Soviet movie camera Screen and box for underwater filming Dolphin
The amateur movie camera "Ekran" ( Screen) was produced at the Kazan Optical-Mechanical Plant starting in 1961. The movie camera "Ekran" was designed to use narrow 8 mm film. The film was produced wound on a reel packed in black opaque paper. To be used in the Ekran film camera, the film had to be rewound into a special lightproof cassette - this made it possible to change cassettes in the camera in the light.
For the Ekran film camera, the Kazan Optical-Mechanical Plant produced an additional accessory - the Dolphin box for underwater filming.
