Antique Japanese Keyaki "Whirling Grain" Mirror Box 

This gorgeous Japanese Mirror Box is made from Keyaki Wood with natural wood "Whirling Grain" Pattern. These beautiful antique pieces are becoming harder to source, especially in such good condition. Features a lovely natural whirling grain pattern with hand-carved cut out designs. All original handles, mirror and fastening screws. Unrestored and in original condition. Timber in great condition with lovely patina. Drawers slide easily. Mirror has small sections of pitting but over-all in very good condition. No cracks or chips. Measures 93cm tall x 47.5cm wide x 26cm deep. Mirror measures 63.5cm tall x 33.5cm wide. Comes apart for easy storage. Some marks and scratches which I think adds to the authenticity and appeal of the piece! Please click on photos for a close up.
