Here is a NICE!, Blown In Mold, Applied Lip (BIMAL), Quart beer bottle, approx 12" tall, deep COBALT BLUE, shaped like a whiskey. Embossed on shoulder: W. H. McL. / Toledo, O. This was from the firm of William H. McLyman. Embossed on base: T.W. & Co. which stands for: Thomas Wightman & Company, Pittsburgh, PA (c. 1873-1893). This mark is seen on fruit jars and a variety of other bottles. This company was a successor to Lorenz and Wightman. This bottle comes in a Pint and a Quart size, with this one being the Quart.

RARE bottle. Worthpoint only shows 2 examples in all the years of extracting auction sale information for that website, one was a Pint and one was a Quart - both of those were dug, this example was NOT dug. There was also an example in the Charles Aprill collection that was sold by Heckler. Those are the only other ones that I have seen for sale. This one has been in my collection since 2005.

Condition: Almost Near Mint, has a small open bubble between the letters H and M, minor (see close up picture above). Tiny fleabite on heel, very minor. NO other chips, cracks or dings. See pictures above for best description of condition. I grade this one an 8.5 to 9 on a scale of 1 to 10.
