Honky Tonk is a 1941 black-and-white Western film produced by MGM and distributed by Loews. Clark Gable plays the role of "Candy" Johnson, a con man who settles in Yellow Creek in the 1880s. Gable's performance in Honky Tonk is similar to his earlier role as Butler in Gone with the Wind.  The movie was re-released in 1955.

The film was directed by Jack Conway and produced by Pandro S. Berman. It also stars:

The National Screen Service (NSS) was a company that distributed theatrical advertising materials in the United States from approximately 1940 through the 1980s. It was located in Englewood, New Jersey.

By the 1940s, the NSS produced and distributed nearly every movie poster produced in the United States. The NSS was the "control center" for almost 90% of the movie paper distributed.
