Hibiki is a masterpiece of Suntory whisky, created using traditional blending techniques and a careful selection of aged raw materials.

Hibiki is produced at two distilleries, Yamazaki and Hakushu, where a variety of unique malts are grown.

Typically, more than a dozen malts are used for blending, but Hibiki is made from a selection of 33-34 malts in some years and 38-39 in others.

The choice of blender for Hibiki

Hibiki is made by carefully selecting a wide range of sakes aged in various casks and delicately blending them with the skill of a master brewer.

The taste is deep and sweet, and the aroma magnificent and smooth.

You will appreciate the jewel of harmony created by the addition of wine barrel-aged sake.

Although there is no mention of age, the wine is supposed to be made from original wine that is on average around 15 years old, but can be up to 30 years old (at the time of release).
