Evening tunic shirt for formal wear, probably made around the 1920s/1930s, by J. S. Simpson of Wallsend.  Textured bib and cuffs with an unusual zig-zag pattern. Unusual design for the bib - presumably to make it easier to fix your shirt studs - the two lower parts of the front panels open up, as shown.
This shirt requires a separate collar and studs (not supplied, available separately).

Colour:   White.
Long sleeves.
Textured single cuffs for cufflinks.
Textured front panels, stud fastening.  Shirt studs are not supplied, but are available separately.

Size  Collar size 15.5" (not marked in shirt, taken from measurements).
Actual garment measurements:
Chest 42 inches (maximum).
Shoulder to shoulder 17 inches.
Length at the back 37 inches.
Sleeve length, shoulder to end of cuff, 24 inches.
Sleeve length, armpit to end of cuff, 20.5 inches.
Bib length, measured straight down the front from the stud hole, 13 inches.

Condition:
Vintage shirt in very good condition (used).  Has been laundered (but not starched).   Previous owners' laundry marks inside shirt. There is a faint mark on the right cuff.  The neckband appears to be an old replacement.  There is a small mend in the right-hand gauntlet part of the sleeve.
