Sharp MZ-700 (MZ-711) Computer CUSTOMISED with MYSTERY CARTRIDGE PORT Z80 AND ORIGINAL MANUAL

UNTESTED, so selling for spares or repair

There is some kind of custom made cartridge port installed in the space where the printer plotter would normally go. I am not sure what kind of card or device was meant to go into this expansion slot but there appear to most or all of the bus signals, but I am not certain.

I have, however photographed this expansion in some detail so maybe someone, somewhere might be able to identify it's purpose, especially as there are/were no games cartridges for this machine. Perhaps it was designed to test, something?

I have not disassembled the machine any further than this. I have not powered it up. I am sure some capacitors will need to be replaced, a task I will leave for the next owner.
