Franklin Mint Mistress of Fire Pocketknife

Special limited edition knife. Out of production.

Official Mistress of Fire Collector Pocket Knife Folder issued by the Franklin Mint.

Knightstone Collections were created in the late 1990's by the Franklin Mint which was looking to capture a new audience for collecting. This Fantasy Knife Collection was designed by renowned fantasy artist Boris Vallejo. The collectibles marketed under these collections were a little racy compared to the typical collectibles that the Franklin Mint created and sold. In fact, the Franklin Mint, in an attempt to not offend the normal Franklin Mint collectors, originally used a mail address that was different than the normal Franklin Mint mail order. The address used for ordering the Knightstone Collections was actually a small warehouse on the grounds at the Franklin Mint headquarters located in Media Pa. The Pocket knives sold under Knightstone collections still carried all the high quality and attention to detail of the Franklin Mint knives.

This beautiful , Limited Edition ( there were only 45 casting days ), precision crafted folding pocketknife is no longer available through the Franklin Mint. Crafted in the tradition of fine collector pocketknives by the artisans of The Franklin Mint, this sexy piece features an intricately detailed sculpted metal handle, accented with sterling silver, a color inlay of the Mistress of Fire , artwork by renowned fantasy artist Boris Vallejo sealed under clear acrylic and a simulated gemstone. The Mistress of Fire knife sports a flame shaped stainless steel blade complete with design work. The minted medal of the Franklin Mint Knightstone Collections is set into the reverse of the handle. The perfect fantasy collector's pocket knife.
