This is a passive system, you will need an amplifier.

The jewel cubes are in great condition. Also including wires with the Bose connectors which easily fit into the back of the jewe cubes and the other side in the acoustimass subwoofer.

The subwoofer is slightly peeled at the bottom on one side with some paint marks but this side can be easily hidden. Other than that it's fine. This has no impact on the sound.
