Description

At 45 rpm, the rpm seems to be slightly low, and the standby lamp that goes off when the set speed is reached does not go out, but at 33 rpm there is no problem, and I can play LPs normally with the cartridge I have.

The arm it is equipped with is the MA-505, which is dynamically balanced and sold separately, and there are no problems with its operation, including the stylus pressure adjustment, inside force canceller, and oil lifter.

It has been placed on the top shelf of a rack for many years, so the exterior is somewhat dusty, but the metal parts are in very good condition with no rust or corrosion.

There are very few scratches on the acrylic dust cover, and the player base and insulator are in good condition.

A typical arm applies stylus pressure by unbalancing the front and rear weight, but a dynamic balance tone arm uses a spring to apply stylus pressure after balancing the front and rear weight. It features a stable trace that is not easily affected by vibrations. This dynamic balance type is limited to some high-end tonearms (all inscribed) because it increases cost and requires precision processing.

Whether the turntable mat is genuine or Pioneer's butyl rubber mat is unknown. Cartridge and head shell are not included. Also, the pin cable that comes with the original product is not included.
