A large work, bound in full leather, rebacked with leather spine and five raised bands. Measuring approx. 34cm x 24cm x 9.5cm. The lower band of spine is chipped/cracked and there are a couple of minor nicks to top of spine. Leather is marked and worn with some scuffs/scratches. Corners bumped and chipped. The bands to spine are scuffed and worn. Split to bottom of rear board/spine edge. Internally more recent endpapers to front and rear (split, repaired patches with reinforced strip to inner edges). Some ink and pencil to inside front board and bookplate (Basilii A Galland). The first sixteen or so leaves and last four or so leaves are tatty/chipped and crudely repaired to edges (see photos). The title page has name to top (H. Thomas), some ink smudges and letters, and has been laid down to later blank. The last text leaf (chipped) has been pasted to rear endpaper. The first and last section of leaves are bit tatty/bumped and grubby. Some staining to lower margins of a section of leaves and a few sections have larger staining. Tiny worm trail to margin of a few leaves. Occasional inscription and word. Thumbed with scattered grubbiness. Some creases, marks and chips (few outer page edges a touch frayed), and there are a several nicks/small tears. Cracked and cracking throughout, although leaves remain reasonably firm. Lacking three plates and possibly a couple of leaves (please see pagination below carefully). In very readable condition and the majority of text block remains in reasonably clean condition.

Shipping

  • We will gladly ship anywhere in the World.
  • We offer FREE UK domestic shipping, fully tracked and insured.
  • We use several services for overseas shipping, under 5kg usually shipped via Royal Mail Tracked. Heavier shipments or faster courier services are available, and we will do our best to accommodate your preferred method.
  • We combine shipping for multiple items (Please wait to be invoiced for multiple purchases for accurate costings).
  • We will also gladly hold purchased items to allow for larger combined shipments, (Please let us know before payment).
  • All shipping costs are weight dependent.
  • We ship at cost.

Packaging
All our books will be carefully and securely packaged in custom made book boxes (The majority of which are produced Carbon Neutral). The Bubble packaging and boxes are all recyclable, and most tape used is environmentally friendly (we are constantly researching ways to reduce our environmental impact without compromising safe, secure and affordable shipping). We aim to send all items within 24-48 hours of payment.

Returns Policy
If you are unhappy in any way, for whatever reason, with the transaction or the item, please contact us as soon as possible. Your item is fully refundable if not as described.
