Si tratta di un accendino Dupont, nuovo e mai usato, mai venduto, appartenente alla serie "Ligne 2", ovvero la serie successiva alla 16XXX, dove 16 stava per la serie e poi le altre 3 cifre sono quelle che indicano il tipo di placcatura e la decorazione del singolo oggetto: questa serie successiva, identica nelle dimensioni e simile alla ancora successiva Gran Dupont, è una serie di grandi dimensioni, piuttosto recente, sempre bellissima e super-rifinita, appartenente alle serie di alta gamma della casa.

Questo accendino appartiene alla collezione risalente agli anni '90/'2000 circa, quindi è sicuramente un accendino "semi-vintage", ma ancora BRAND NEW, mai venduto, mai usato, un vero e proprio 'resto di magazzino', ma è quasi, se così si può dire, l' antenato del contemporaneo "Le New Grand Dupont", che è in vendita oggi, leggermente più grande ma molto molto simile.

L'accendino è placcato in argento, con una bella ed elegante finitura molto particolare, con righe diagonali fitte con decori a "virgola", decisamente una lavorazione inconsueta e molto molto bella, tra l'altro un superclassico, oserei dire anche "minimalista".

Le dimensioni di questo accendino sono 62x37x11 mm, il che lo rende un accendino piuttosto "grande".

This is a Dupont lighter, new and never used, never sold, belonging to the 'Ligne 2' series, i.e. the series following the 16XXX, where 16 stood for the series and then the other 3 digits are the ones indicating the type of plating and decoration of the single object: this later series, identical in size and similar to the still later Gran Dupont, is a rather recent, still beautiful and super-finished large series, belonging to the high-end series of the house.

This lighter belongs to the collection dating from around the 1990s and 2000s, so it is definitely a 'semi-vintage' lighter, but still BRAND NEW, never sold, never used, a real 'remainder of stock', but it is almost, if one can say so, the ancestor of the contemporary 'Le New Grand Dupont', which is on sale today, slightly larger but very very similar.

The lighter is silver plated, with a very beautiful and elegant finish, with dense diagonal stripes with 'comma' decorations, definitely an unusual and very beautiful workmanship, by the way a super-classic, dare I say 'minimalist'.

The dimensions of this lighter are 62x37x11 mm, making it a rather 'large' lighter.
