I believe this to be caviar leather. This is vintage and leather changes over time, however there are still many signs indicating Caviar leather.

Bag features two large outside pockets on front and back

Inside features a large open storage compartment with 2 inside zipper pockets

Snap closure functions properly

Extremely minor scratches to outside leather. Only noticeable if looking for flaws.

Minor inside scratches.

Hardware is sturdy with some dulling to some parts. Minor scratches noticed.

No noticeable corner wear

This bag has been well taken care of.
