OS Max Sirius FR5-300 5 Cylinder 4-Stroke Rotary Radial Engine Vintage!

One vintage rotary radial engine from OS in Japan!

OS Engines created something special to commemorate their 50th anniversary; a beautiful engineering marvel, the FR5-300 radial.  Machined mostly from bar-stock materials (including the highly polished crankcase & the black anodised cylinders), this FR5 features a geared double-track cam ring to operate its OHVs (over head valves), actuated by push-rods & a machined master connecting rod with articulated rods assembly, ringed aluminium pistons & ball raced crankshaft (4 ball bearings & 2 needle roller bearings).  Its equipped with an impressive cast mount, which surrounds the automatic mixture control RC carb, whilst providing easy access to the RC carb controls.

Unlike other production radial engines that use crankcase to distribute fuel mixture from the RC carb to the cylinders, this FR5 has separate inlet manifolds, just like the full size radial engines, resulting in consistent smooth running of all 5 cylinders.  Ideal engine for use in a large scale model, e.g. 1/4 scale bi-plane, war-bird or just for display.

About the new "ebay payments" just introduced by ebay & its effect on dispatch time
We all got used to ebay purchases with PayPal payments, that cleared immediately, resulting in fast dispatch.  Ebay have now introduced ebay payments.  Ebay are saying "The payout will generally be initiated within 2 business days from the order confirmation. Once initiated it will take up to 4 business days for the funds to clear in your account and become available to you".  Thusly, this new "ebay payments" interface could add up to 6 working days to dispatch time compared to the aforementioned PayPal payments.  I imagine somebody somewhere will get a bonus for this.  This new payments thingy forced upon us (you can't opt-out of it) has therefore added 5 working days to my dispatch time.  Please bear this in mind before placing your bid.

Please note the item is for sale by a private individual & in accordance with section 2.18 of the DTI (Department of Trade & Industry) OFT (Office of Fair Trading) Distance Selling Guide Sept 2006, the guidance for UK implementation of the EU consumer DSR (Distance Selling Regulations), so this item is NOT subject to return nor refund.
