The Sunflower for Ukraine 2 euro coin, like the For the Freedom of Ukraine 5 euro collector coin issued in 2022, is dedicated to Ukraine’s fight for freedom.

Sales of the collector versions of the new €2 coin are raising funds for Ukraine.

Ukraine is the world’s largest producer of sunflowers and exporter of sunflower oil. The sunflower is not only an important export product in Ukraine, but also a symbol of the struggle for peace.
