The cover is marked and stained with rubbed/bumped corners and edges. The edges are fraying slightly and there some small pieces of cover missing from the spine and the top of the back page.

The contents is marked, stained and foxed. The binding is splitting in a few places, but holding. Some pages have bent/creased corners and some are creased near the base of the spine. The back free endpaper has a tear on the edge but is complete.
