I'm listing this as open box / like new. Bought this new from Rod at Arca-Swiss USA. The total extent of its use has been setting it up with my 8x10" Arca-Swiss F-Metric view camera - indoors - and moving the camera around. That's it - literally. So listing it as open box makes more sense to me than "used". There's one tiny cosmetic blemish that can be seen in the second-to-last photo. Am selling because I also have the uber-expensive C1 cube and don't need to keep both.
Functionality is perfect, 100% - if anything's wrong or it's not as described, feel free to return it.
This is probably the strongest, smoothest ball head on the market. Weighs 2.07lb / 940g but has a load capacity of up to 176lb / 80kg. Holds an 8x10" camera easily, so 4x5" or medium format is absolutely no problem at all.
It has the "classic" knob-type rather than the flip-lock type attachment. I prefer the manual knob, find it more secure. It's also the dual pan version - 360 degree panning at the base (like the basic model) as well as up top. If you have an Arca-Swiss camera, the rail will slide right into the quick release system of this head without needing a plate.
