Detail from a Jali screen. Often found in architectural decoration, Jali is common in Indo-Islamic and Indian architecture. The Ashmolean's Mughal screens feature central panels with interlocking geometric patterns, possibly made for one of the nineteenth century exhibitions of Indian art.

All our recycled Ocean Mats are machine washable at 30 degrees and made from recycled fishing and landfill waste.

Returns
