Up for sale is a wonderful antique advertising wood box - Country Store container. German Sweet Chocolate. Original paper on the top and back of this piece. The colors are green, gold, off white, red. Star in center. Fair to good condition with some damage. Refer to all pictures. Wood box is dovetailed. Small dovetails. Printed info on box top and back. Hinges that are functional. Not sure if they are original. Chip to wood on top.

Box has some wear. Lock on front. No key. Bottom of lid has some writing on it. Paper on the back has significant wear.

Box measures 10 1/4” by 9 1/2” by 4 1/2”.

Very good condition. Some damage as stated. Refer to all pictures. Clean on inside.

I bought this box about 40 years ago. Purchased in New England.

Antique piece from the late 1880’s to early 1900’s from the Country store era. Rare piece of antique country store memorabilia.
