HP ZBook 14u G6 - 32 Gb Memory - Windows 11 - Back to 1 TB SSD!
This model has an i7 processor, an Intel Core i7-8665U, not an i5, with a new 1 TB NVMe SSD drive and we have upgraded to 32 GB of memory. The CPU has four cores and supports hyper-threading yielding eight logical processors.
Update to memory configuration. The folks at SolidIGM, that took over Intel's SSD business, made a warranty replacement of my failed 1 TB SSD. So this unit is back up to its former configuration.
A fully tested HP AC adapter is included - these are the smaller adapters with the blue tip!
These laptops are off lease but we have run a simple loop with the display and sleep timers disabled and got many hours of battery life writing out timer records to a file server.
Windows 11 was reinstalled and all Microsoft updates applied to test the laptop but Windows REALLY wants to personalize the configuration and you don't want to know what username and password we used to test! So we have installed Windows 11 and stopped the process at the first boot after install where it says "What do you want to name this PC" and you can configure for personal use or to connect with a domain. So you can follow the steps to add your username and account, etc. We will include a bootable USB stick with Windows 11 installation so if there is any issue you can just boot from the USB and re-install.
We bought a Windows 11 Pro License which we have printed out and include in the box..
