INSTRUCTIONS FOR CULTIVATION OF SUNFLOWER SEEDS:
Prepare tools and sow seeds:
» Step 1: After mixing the soil, we put it in a pot or nursery tray.
» Step 2: Water the soil thoroughly.
» Step 3: Soak the seeds: for thin-shelled seeds, you can soak them in warm water for about 5-8 hours. For seeds with thick shells, you should soak them in warm water (the rule is to mix 7 cold to 3 hot water). Soak for 1 night until the seed shells swell, then sow.
» Step 4: Incubate the seeds: after soaking the seeds, incubate the seeds (depending on the type of seed, some need to be incubated for a few hours, 1 or more days), there are also types of seeds that do not need to be soaked.
Encourage use of Atonik to increase germination rate
» Step 5: Sow the seeds: the principle of sowing is to cover the seeds with a depth equal to 1-2 times the diameter of the seeds (be careful not to compact the soil after covering the seeds). For very small seeds, we sow them directly on moist ground, then mist them so they stick to the soil.
» Step 6: After sowing seeds, use a spray bottle to spray the surface a few times so that the soil and seeds come into contact with each other.
IMPORTANT NOTE
When sowing seeds, do not use clumped soil or dry soil. The soil must be crushed until it is very smooth, the smoother the better. To increase the germination rate, soil should be mixed with humus, most commonly coconut humus, rice husk ash or rotten leaves. Do not abuse Atonik, if used, make sure to dilute Atonik very dilutely, 1 drop can mix a large basin of water.
