Fabulous Antique women’s coat from the 1920’s.

Lovely faux sealskin with nice heavy lining on the inside. The Label is Mabley & Carew of Cinncinati. There is no label with the size. Stylish and unique with gathering near the side waist area and large buttons. Cuffs are split and turned up with a button.

I would rate this coat at very good to good condition with no major flaws or damage or funky smells. There is some wear on the cuff of the sleeves. See photo.

Measurements are approx.

Bust area 25” across the front from armpit to armpit.

Sleeve 24”

Front-shoulder to hem 48”

Back-shoulder to shoulder 18”

I believe this is a Large to X Large.

There is a small hole in the lining near the bottom.

There are small areas where the lining is starting to loosen. Looks like there have been minor repairs here and there, mostly on the inside lining where it was coming apart from the coat. All repairs seems to be well done. One large botton was stitched back on with a small white button holding it in place from the inside. See pics. Buttons and loops showing some wear.

Definitely a step back in time., possibly a hundred years or more. Overall a very nice antique coat and just in time for the cooler weather. I’ve been waiting for the cooler weather to list this special coat!

I will do my best to look for the best, least expensive but reliable shipping rate.

All of my items sold as-is.
