How to Play
Divide Everyone Into Teams
Depending on the size and demographics of your group, you have a few different options for teams:
- Every man for himself in an elimination-style game. Each person gets their own bucket and if a ball lands inside their bucket they are elimanted.
- Boys vs. Girls – A fun way to settle any differences is letting a game of bucket ball decide who gets their way!
- Parents vs. kids – Finally a game where the kids can beat the parents!
- Elected teams with team captains – Two team captains decide who is on their teams by taking turns choosing team mates.
Bucket Toss Game Types
Traditional Bucket Toss for maximum interaction between players:
- Each side creates a triangle of six buckets. The bucket zones are typically 30ft apart.
- Each team takes shots at opposing teams buckets. If a ball lands inside, it is removed from game play.
- The team to first eliminate the other teams bucket wins!
Fast Pace Bucket Toss
For a more exciting game of bucket toss, try the following variation for faster paced action:
- Place a single bucket typically 30ft apart. Each team stand behind their bucket before shooting.
- Each team starts to throw the balls one by one into the bucket from behind the bucket line.
- The team to first get two successful bucket tosses wins.

- Two (2) Tennis Balls
