Ace Double F-173:
THE JEWELS OF APTOR by Samuel R Delany/SECOND ENDING by James White.
Pictures shown are of the actual book.
Printed 1962. Published by Ace Books Inc, New York.
Standard size for the D-series Ace doubles (4 1/4 by 6 1/2). Illustrated cardstock covers (perfect bound) with white and yellow printing on
blue and red spine.
Condition:  Covers show some wear: dark patch on JEWELS panel due to bleed-through of marker ink on the inner side of that panel, several top-to-bottom creases on both panels, reading creases the full length of the spine, spine is soiled, light rubbing on the spine corners, outer corners slightly rounded. A '3' is stamped on the page edges near the spine, an 'S' stamping the same position on the other end of the book. Large patch of marker ink inside one cover (probably covering a bookstore stamping). Bookstore stamping inside both covers. Inner pages are tanning, as expected for this type of paper, all pages are supple and tight to the spine. No pages appear to be missing. No other writings or stampings within.
